Save By Faith Children Foundation Inc
is celebrating – for the future! This year marks the 9ththanniversary of the foundation Executive Director Kevin Smith founded Save By Faith Children Foundation with a vision to improve the lives of at-risk youth in his community by providing organized sports and educational/career-focused programming. Smith, who served as the District Director for the local chapter of the Boy Scouts of America, understands the great importance of character and physical health, and the value of instilling that understanding within youth.
Initiated by Kevin Smith, Save By Faith Children Foundation hopes to create a positive and rewarding experience for the youth in our community and enable them to achieve their true potential. We recognize that confidence and optimism are integral components of success; therefore, will provide our youth with a sense of purpose to inspire and open the doors of opportunity. Two additional cornerstones of our organization are education and health, as knowledge and physical well-being are vital attributes of an athlete. All of our activities revolve around instilling the importance of learning and growing as a person.
Individual empowerment and self-determination are strong components of the Save By Faith Children Foundation. Established in July 2009, our grassroots organization was conceived and organized to address the social, educational, and recreational needs of the Chicago community, to counteract failure, and to assist in the successful transition to life in a positive environment.
Recognizing the physical and emotional effects of a sedentary lifestyle, we strive teach personal the importance of health and physical ability, while encouraging a belief in personal responsibility, instilling habits of hard work, and demonstrating passionate commitment to excellence. It is the goal of Save By Faith Children Foundation to become an aggressive resource in broadening the scope of athletic activities for the youth in our community to encompass character, education, and career preparedness.
